After Mill Creek scored on a Harrison error to cut its deficit to 9 5, Nike Air Force 1 High Qs
Harrison led 15 13 when Montour and Ostman got back to back kills to increase the Lady Hoyas' advantage to 17 13.

Mill Creek (35 15) took a 6 3 lead early in the first, set and while Harrison was able to rally back to tie the set 6 all, the Lady Hawks were able to maintain a slight lead through the early part of the set.
After that, Harrison proceeded to build its lead, with aces by Ostman and Scott, a kill by Ryan and a block by Bright fueling a 10 3 run that gave the Lady Hoyas the first set.
The second set was even better for Harrison, which jumped out to a 12 5 and then proceeded to finish out the set with a 13 0 run.
The Lady Hoyas scored on a kill by Montour, an ace by Haskins, back to back kills by Ostman and a block by Scott to increase their lead to 9 4.
Lady Hoyas come through with dominant second round
Harrison coach Clay Taylor said. "We kind of knew they had the one hitter on the outside, and that's where they we're going to go, so we keyed on her. They're about six or seven points into the first set, and then we got a couple of quick blocks, and the girls started running."

Mill Creek stayed close early in the third set, and the score was tied 4 all when Harrison proceeded to go on an 11 1 run.
The Lady Hoyas were paced during the run by the serving of Taylor Haskins, who had four aces during the stretch, while Montour contributed a handful of kills.

After trading the lead several times early in the first set, Harrison (43 4) went on a 10 3 run to win the opening set 25 16. The Lady Hoyas then proceeded to win the next two sets 25 5 and 25 11 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The remaining eight teams in each classification will be reseeded Nike Air Force 1 Low Junior Trainers White before quarterfinal round matches are played Saturday. As one of the state's best teams, Harrison would likely host.
Caroline Ostman had 12 kills, two aces and two digs to lead the Lady Hoyas on Tuesday, while Alexis Ryan had nine kills, an ace and four digs. Tyra Montour added six kills, a dig and three blocks, with Kelly Scott totaling seven kills, two aces, 2 blocks and 30 assists. Maggie Williamson had nine digs, with Megan Bright totaling three kills and 2 blocks.
